Manage Account Settings

The Settings tab within Manage Account allows you to update your password and enable 2-Step Verification to protect your genomic data.

How to Reset or Change Your Password

If you have forgotten your password or need to update it, follow these steps:

  1. Click the Sign In button in the top right corner of the Sequencing.com homepage, then select Forgot Password?  or go directly to sequencing.com/sign-in.
  2. Enter the email address associated with your Sequencing account.
  3. Check your inbox for a password reset email and follow the instructions to create a new password.

Tips for a successful login:

  • Passwords are case-sensitive. Make sure your capitalization matches exactly what you set during registration.
  • When entering your email and password, confirm there are no extra spaces before or after the text in either field.

How to Enable 2-Step Verification

2-Step Verification adds a second layer of security to your Sequencing account. Once enabled, you will need to enter your email address, password, and a time-sensitive code from the Google Authenticator app each time you sign in.

To set up 2-Step Verification, visit Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) in the Knowledge Center.

Troubleshooting: Lost Access to Google Authenticator

If your Google Authenticator app is no longer accessible and you are locked out of your account, contact our support team directly at support@sequencing.com. Include your account email address and a brief description of the issue so the team can verify your identity and restore access.
