Utilizing Sequencing.com for Personalized Healthcare
Sequencing.com for Healthcare Providers
Sequencing.com offers a comprehensive platform that integrates genomic data into healthcare practices. The platform provides various tools and services for healthcare providers to deliver personalized healthcare solutions.
Getting Started with Sequencing.com
1. Registering a Free Account
Healthcare providers can start by registering a free account on Sequencing.com. Detailed instructions for account registration can be found here.
2. Uploading Patient Data
Providers can upload genetic data, including WES and WGS data, to the platform. Big Yotta is recommended for data files larger than 200MB. Uploaded data for each individual is automatically combined into a single genome profile. For detailed instructions on uploading genetic data, please visit this link.
3. Data Management and Patient Identification
After data upload, providers can rename the genome profile with a patient ID or name. This process allows for efficient management and identification of each patient’s genetic data.
Accessing and Using Free Services
Sequencing.com offers various free services, including Next-Gen Disease Screen Free, Genome Explorer Free, and other free reports. Providers can access these services for each patient whose data is stored on their account.
Advanced Analysis and Subscriptions
Additional analysis and subscription services can be purchased on a patient-by-patient basis. Providers can manage these services individually for each patient.
Creating a Custom Whole Genome Sequencing (WGS) Bundle
Healthcare providers have the option to create their own WGS bundle, which can include the provider’s or institution’s name. For more information on this and to discuss further, providers should contact Sequencing support.
Compliance and Data Security
Sequencing.com is HIPAA compliant and engages in HIPAA Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) with healthcare providers. For detailed information on HIPAA compliance certifications, visit this link.
