Each tier will provide new and exciting benefits to help you dive into your data and explore the vast information and insights your genome can provide.
1. Do I need to pay for a Genome Plan Membership to use Sequencing.com**?**
We offer a Free plan so you do not need to pay any membership fee to use Sequencing.com. Our platform is designed to be accessible to everyone, whether you’re exploring a single DNA report, diving into comprehensive health insights, or just getting started with DNA testing.
2. I purchased a Whole Genome Sequencing bundles, what happens if I downgrade the membership that was included to the Free Plan?
You will always have access to your data and any reports included in your bundle, regardless of your membership status.
3. What does a membership or genome plan add to my experience?
A membership or genome plan enhances your experience by providing exclusive access to advanced reports, deeper personalized insights, and priority support. With a membership, you’ll also receive early access to cutting-edge tools, ongoing updates, and unique features, such as our AI-driven reports currently in beta. Members gain a premium experience with access to purchase proprietary reports, but most report are available to purchase whether or not you have a membership.
4. Will I still get detailed health insights without a membership?
Absolutely. Our DNA reports offer comprehensive health, wellness, and ancestry insights even without a membership. Every report is designed to provide actionable information, tailored to empower you with knowledge about your unique genetic makeup. You won’t miss out on essential health insights by choosing a pay-as-you-go approach—each report purchased provides full access to all the information it contains.
5. Can I view, download, and manage my genetic data without a membership?
Yes. You maintain complete control over your genetic data, whether or not you have a membership. Once you purchase a report or test, you can access your results, download your data, and use our data management tools for free. We believe in transparency and accessibility—your data is always yours to explore, whenever you want.
6. Is there any commitment required if I decide to upgrade my membership?
At Sequencing.com, all membership plans are designed as annual commitments, ensuring a full year of access and benefits. We have options to either pay a one time payment or break up payments monthly for 12 months. The only exception to this is if you purchase a Whole Genome Sequencing bundle. Each bundle will come with a specific membership options, some includiung a month to month plan with no commitment.
7. How is my privacy and data security protected if I’m not a member?
Privacy and security are at the heart of what we do. We uphold stringent data protection standards to ensure that your genetic information is secure, regardless of your membership status. Your data will always remain private, stored with robust encryption, and protected by our Privacy Forever guarantee, so you can explore your genetic information with complete peace of mind.
8. If I choose not to keep my membership now, can I upgrade at a later time?
Yes, you have the freedom to upgrade at any time. If you decide to enhance your experience with a genome plan or membership, you’ll gain access to premium features, additional reports, and ongoing updates. There’s no pressure—our services are here to grow with you, at your own pace.
9. Does a membership impact the quality or accuracy of my reports?
No. Each report provides high-quality, scientifically-backed insights, regardless of whether you have a membership. A membership enhances your overall experience by offering additional reports and premium tools, but the quality and reliability of the insights in each individual report remain top-tier, with or without a membership.
10. Are there any free reports I can access without a membership?
Yes! We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to explore their DNA. That’s why we offer a selection of free reports and resources that are available to all users without requiring a membership. 11. How can a genome plan help me stay proactive with my health?
For those looking to proactively manage their health with the latest genetic insights, a genome plan offers ongoing access to new reports, updated research findings, and advanced tools. This means that as science evolves, so does your health data, giving you up-to-date, actionable insights to support your wellness goals.
12. What do I do if I have a pop up for a failed renewal payment?
If you have a failed renewal payment then your account will be paused until the payment method has been updated. If you want to continue on the current membership all you need to do is update your payment method HERE. If you do not wish to continue your current membership you can also downgrade your membership HERE.
