Getting started
This page explains how to set up your Sequencing account, manage your membership, add genetic data, and protect your information.
Sign Up

Navigate to the Sign Up page.

Enter your email and create a strong password.

Confirm your email to activate the account.
Once complete, you’ll have access to your dashboard, secure storage, and the Report Marketplace.
Signing In

Log in with your registered email and password.

If you forget your password, use the Forgot Password link to reset it.

If two-step authentication is enabled, you’ll also need to enter a verification code.
Membership
Each genome in your account requires a Genome Plan.

Free Plan: includes secure storage, One Genome Technology, and access to basic features.

Paid Plans (Plus, Premium, Professional): provide Health Scan, monthly report credits, AI report credits, access to advanced apps and reports.
Membership settings can be managed from Account → Membership, where you can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel.
Uploading Genetic Data
There are two ways to add data to your account:

Activate a Sequencing kit

Enter the Kit ID from your kit to connect it with your account.

Follow the sample collection instructions and return the kit for processing.

Upload existing DNA data

Upload files from other services (such as 23andMe, Ancestry, MyHeritage) or sequencing labs.

Supported file types include FASTQ, BAM, and VCF.

All files are automatically combined into a digital genome using One Genome Technology.
Account Security Features
Sequencing uses multiple safeguards to protect your data:

Encryption of all data in transit and at rest.

Segregated Storage for files, metadata, and account information.
Privacy Forever: DNA Data Privacy & Ownership
Sequencing follows a privacy-first policy:

You retain ownership of your DNA data.

Your data is never sold to third parties.
-
Access is permission-based — apps can only use data you approve.

You may request deletion of your data at any time.
Account Status

Check your current plan, billing information, and credits in Account Settings.

If billing issues occur, the account may be temporarily placed on hold until resolved.

Downgrading to Free preserves raw data and completed reports, but removes access to premium features and unused credits.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to pick a file each time I run a report?
No. Reports use your digital genome created through One Genome Technology, so you don’t need to select individual files.
Can I upload data from different providers?
Yes. If files belong to the same person, they will be merged into a single digital genome.
What happens if I downgrade my membership?
Your raw data and purchased reports remain accessible, but premium features and unused credits are no longer available.
How long does sequencing take?
Turnaround time depends on the service selected (standard, expedited, or, ultra rapid). Processing times are shown during ordering and in your account.
Is my data secure?
Yes. All data is encrypted, access is logged, and you remain the owner of your DNA data under Sequencing’s Privacy Forever policy.
