How to use a Report

A report turns your genetic data into clear, personalized insight about your health, traits, nutrition, and more. Once your genetic data is uploaded and your Genome is available in your account, you can run any report or app from the Partner Marketplace in a few steps. This guide walks through what you need, how to run a report, and how to find your results.

What is a report?

Reports and apps in the Partner Marketplace analyze your genetic data and return results you can act on. Because Sequencing works with up to 100% of your DNA, covering over 30,000 genes, a single Genome can power a wide range of reports across health, nutrition, fitness, and other categories. Some reports are free and others are premium, and you can run as many as you like on the same Genome.

What do I need before running a report?

You need three things in place:

  1. A Sequencing account.
  2. Your genetic data uploaded to your account.
  3. Your Genome available in your account, which the platform prepares from your uploaded data.

How to run a report

  1. Go to the Partner Marketplace and find the report or app you want to run.
  2. Select the report and click Get Report or Start Report.
  3. Select your Genome and enter payment details if needed.
  4. Your report will now begin processing.

You will receive an email when the report has finished processing and your results are ready. The email will also contain a link to the results.
