How to Check the Status of Your Whole Genome Sequencing DNA Collection Kit
It’s natural to be eager about the status of your Whole Genome Sequencing DNA Collection Kit. Here’s how you can find out where your kit is in the processing pipeline.
For Expedited and Premium Expedited Kits
If you’ve chosen our Expedited or Premium Expedited services, you can expect your kit to be processed within a shorter timeframe. Expedited kits usually complete within 4 weeks after the lab receives them, while Premium Expedited kits take about 2-3 weeks.

Please note: We’re currently developing a dedicated status update page for our Expedited and Premium Expedited kits. Soon, you’ll be able to check your kit’s status online with just a few clicks.
For Standard Kits
If your kit bundle doesn’t specify ‘Expedited’ or ‘Premium Expedited’, it means you have a standard kit. Standard kits usually complete within 12-16 weeks after the lab receives them.
To check the status of your standard kit, you’ll need to visit your kit status page. This is easy to do:
- Log into your Sequencing account and head to the ’My DNA Data’ page.
- If you’ve activated a kit, you’ll notice a kit status section at the top of the page.
- Click on the kit status to be directed to the comprehensive Kit Status Update page, where you can see all the details about your kit’s progress.
