Donations based on the Sequencing.com’s Total Community Altruism

Total Altruism is the combined amount of all Rewards earned by everyone in the Sequencing.com community.

When Total Altruism reaches a specific level, Sequencing.com makes a donation to the nonprofit ⁠Rare Genomics Institute.

This charity provides genome sequencing to children and individuals who have a serious, undiagnosed illness. Genome sequencing has the potential to diagnose their illness and may even lead to a treatment or cure.
