Deleting DNA Data & Files

You can permanently delete DNA data files, DNA reports, and any file stored in your Sequencing.com account at any time.

Deleted files cannot be recovered.

To delete a file:

1. Sign In to your account.
2. Go to your My DNA Data page.
3. Find the genome that contains the file you want to delete and click on that genome (the circle with the letters).
4. Go to the ‘Files’ tab and find the file you want to delete.
5. Under the ‘Actions’ column, click the trash can icon.
6. Confirm you want to permanently delete your file.
