What is DNA Raw Data Analysis?

DNA raw data analysis is the act of analyzing genetic information that has been digitized as computer data.  This computer data is then analyzed with by apps designed to process DNA data.

The apps analyze your genetic information, compare the findings to scientific data and generate reports.  The reports provide meaningful information about you and your family, such as your family’s heritage and health conditions you or your loved ones may be predisposed to.

How Do I Perform DNA Raw Data Analysis

To accomplish this, you first need to take a genetic test. If you take a test from a consumer testing company such as 23andMe, FamilyTree DNA, and MyHeritage, a tremendous amount of raw DNA data is generated for you. While these companies only analyze a very small amount of your DNA data, they do provide you with access to your raw DNA data.
