Assigning population to a file

Any file in your My Data tab, including files that have been shared with you, can be labeled as genetic data from a specific demographic population. To label the population for a file, following these three steps:

  1. Navigate to the My Files tab, which can be found by clicking on Data in the header of any page.
  2. Under the Options column for the file, click on the gear icon: 
    Set population or gender for a file
  3. Select Gender and/or Population.

There are 32 populations to choose from:
