Altruist Endeavor
The Altruist Endeavor applies crowdsourcing to genomics. This is accomplished by creating a publically accessible anonymous database of genetic data. The database is open-source so that software developers can create their own unique ways of searching and accessing the data.
The more data researchers have to study, the greater the power of their research. With more robust research comes a greater likelihood of significant advances that will benefit us all.
